Training To Muscle Failure Or Not
Should I train to the point of muscle failure? No. Generally stop two or three reps short of muscle failure. Increased chance of soreness and injury result from going to failure. Keeping fresh ultimately allows you to perform more high intensity reps and sets thereby exposing your muscles to more 'time under tension'.
