Welcome to Grand Junction's 1st Kettlebell Club.

Image Shenae McHugh competes in Las Vegas. Her 50th jerk rep with 16kg (35lbs) in just under 4 minutes on one arm. She did a total of 86 jerks! That means she moved 35lbs 86 times (36lbs x 86 = 3010lbs!) in under 8 minutes.

The club is a place to develop stamina, strength, coordination, efficiency of movement, confidence and determination. It is also a place to have fun and cheer on fellow kettlebell lifters. Kettlebells have been used internationally by athletes over the centuries. Pavel Tsatsouline introduced America to this amazing tool in 2000. In 2002 kettlebells were called the "Hot Weight of the Year" by Rolling Stone Magazine. Today kettlebell training has the reputation for addressing complaints such as: "I want to lose body fat.", "All the 'weight training' I have done is really boring, but I know I need resistance exercise.", "I can't seem to get any stronger or faster with my current training program for biking, running, martial arts,...(whatever your sport)", "I go to the gym but I don't feel any different.", "I hate the atmosphere at the gym."
